Cancellation of Parts/Service Order:
For orders placed over the website, cancellation requests must be made through the website. If a parts cancellation request is received before any action has been taken to ship the parts, and if the manufacturer allows cancellations, the customer will receive a refund, less a 25% restocking charge. If the item is a special order, the supplier may not allow cancellations, so the cancellation may not be allowed. If a cancellation is received after the order has been shipped, the request will be treated as a request for return.

If a service cancellation request is received before a technician has been dispatched, no charge will result. However, if the technician is already en route, the customer will be charged a minimum truck charge.

Parts return:

RG Henderson’s aim is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If a customer decides to return a part, a request for return must be made through the website. RG Henderson will not accept a return without prior approval. No returns will be accepted past 90 days from the date of purchase. The customer is responsible for the following costs: original shipping costs, return shipping costs, restocking fee (25%), repair charges for any damages incurred. RG Henderson will deduct the relevant charges prior to issuing a refund. In the event that the charges exceed the original charges, the customer agrees to pay the difference.

The part must be returned in its original condition and in its original package to the branch from which the part was received, if package was shipped, return part to Burnaby branch. Refused and returned parts will be inspected to assess re-salability. If RG Henderson is found to have erred in sending the part(s), a full refund will be given to the customer once the part is returned to RG Henderson. The return process requires more administration than most transactions, so refunds may take up to 30 days to be fully processed.

If the customer fails to follow the terms and conditions outlined here, no credit will be awarded.

RG Henderson is limited to what the manufacturers’ warranties stipulate. Parts must be installed and adjusted by skilled personnel. Improper installation may cause malfunction and may void any warranty.

Pricing:
Prices listed do not include taxes, shipping or duties and are subject to change without notice.

Sales Tax:
Provincial Sales Tax and the Goods and Service Tax are charged as required and must be paid at the time of purchase. If applicable, customers are responsible for providing a valid sales tax exemption certificate.

Payment Terms:
The customer is responsible for paying for parts, taxes and fees at the time of purchase. Payment can be made by: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We accept credit cards drawn on Canadian and US banks only. Money orders and certified bank drafts are also accepted. For customers who have credit with RG Henderson & Son Ltd., payment terms are net 30 days from the date of shipment/pick up.

Credit Balance:
A customer’s credit balance is valid for a period of 30 days. After this time, the balance will be cancelled and there will be no further liability for RG Henderson & Son Ltd.

Shipping:
Parts are shipped FOB shipping point. Shipping is available to Canada and the US only. All shipping charges must be paid at the time the order is placed. COD shipments are not permitted.

The customer is responsible for all shipping charges; including any subsequent charges by the shipping company that were not paid at the time the order was placed. Examples of such charges include: additional charges due to inaccurate information regarding the delivery and charges due to failed delivery attempts.

Any refused shipments or shipments the carrier could not deliver will be considered delivered to and accepted by the customer. If the customer refuses a shipment, RG Henderson must be notified immediately.

Once received, the customer is responsible for inspecting the shipment for damages and completeness. Any defects or problems with the shipment due to the carrier’s handling of the shipment must be reported immediately to the carrier. Failure to report a problem may result in a significant reduction in the carrier’s liability for the damage claim. The customer is responsible for filing any loss or damage claim as directed by the carrier and will deal directly with the carrier to resolve the problem. RG Henderson is a third party in the matter; therefore, cannot be involved in the process. The customer is responsible for any concerns or charges for such shipments and agrees to hold RG Henderson, its manufacturers, agents and subagents harmless.

Problems or concerns regarding the parts received must be reported to RG Henderson within 15 days of delivery through the website. Malfunction reports must include an inspection report from a skilled technician regarding their conclusions. If your order is incomplete, incorrect or damaged, contact RG Henderson by phone at 416-422-5580.

Picking up orders:
If preferred, customers may choose to pick up their parts order from the RG Henderson branch. Securing the items for transport is the sole responsibility of the customer. RG Henderson assumes no liability or responsibility for damages as a result of loads being secured improperly. Items must be picked up promptly. After 90 days, items will be considered abandoned; RG Henderson will assume ownership and the customer will not be eligible for a refund. RG Henderson accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to any item while stored on our premises.

If a parts cancellation request is received before any action has been taken to ship the parts, and if the manufacturer allows cancellations, the customer will receive a refund, less a 25% restocking charge.
